I have been teaching all age groups in another profession for over twenty years in  classroom environments and also on a one too one basis this has given me a good understanding of teaching at many different levels, this has made me a versatile teacher which blends well when teaching Tae Kwon-Do.

I started my training in 2001 like so many others I brought my son to Tae Kwon-Do with the thought of lets see how it goes I found myself enjoying the fitness and the challenge I particularly enjoy the patterns and the self defense element.

Tae Kwon-Do appeals to me, as anyone can become involved regardless of fitness or age I myself started when I was forty and in todays busy world it provides a fun way of keeping fit.

I have attended many competitions over the years I have never become a top champion but I have taken 3rd at the British championships in 2001 and 2004 and also in 2007,can,t seem to get past third, My son has a large list of achievements and this is the part of Tae Kwon-Do that is great for families.

Any one can take part in competition and come away with a prize how many other Martial arts offer families this chance.

I aim to build on my Instructors success making Colchester a top club to train in.
